While 2026 is still a ways away, the 2026 Honda Passport has been announced, and drivers in Artesia are excited. Since being reintroduced in 2019, the Passport has been a solid middle sibling to the CR-V and the Pilot, and it’s only getting better.
More Than Looks
While the Mid-Size SUV market is pretty crowded, the 2026 Honda Passport stands out. With rugged styling, it isn’t just for show. The 2026 Honda Passport comes with some real off-road functionality that will also look great on the road. The chassis has been reinforced to be stiffer, offering better handling on and off the road. There is less overhang on the front to increase the approach angle, and a torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system uses power to help with handling. Skid plates are also available on some trims to beef up the off-road credibility of the Passport.
Power and Performance
The 2026 Honda Passport will come with a 3.5-liter V6 making 285 horsepower. That engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, so you’re always in the right gear. The 2026 Passport will also come with Honda’s i-VTM4 all-wheel drive system with torque vectoring to improve handling.
A Tough Interior
The rugged outside of the 2026 Passport is matched by its tough but tender interior. Power-adjustable heated seats are standard up front, and the upholstery is trimmed with leather, except for the TrailSport trim, where a more durable, easier-to-clean synthetic leather is used. Ventilated front seats are available on some trims along with a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
Tech
The 2026 Passport comes with 110 outlets in the cabin and cargo area, so you can bring a kettle on trial for a cup of cocoa or run a hair dryer when camping. The center touchscreen is over twice the size of previous models at 12.3 inches and works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while featuring Wi-Fi and wireless charging.
